Who invented Tiffany lamps?

These iconic fixtures are named after Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933), the American artist and designer and son of the jeweler Charles Lewis Tiffany. In 1885 he founded the Tiffany Glass Company in New York, then from 1893 developed his first stained glass shades thanks to his patented iridescent "Favrile" glass. Shown at the 1900 Paris World's Fair, his creations earned him international recognition and made him one of the leading figures of the Art Nouveau movement.
